APR Boot Camp

A virtual APR Boot Camp will be held April 28-30, 2021.

The APR Boot Camp is a three-day intensive course for candidates to prepare for and be Advanced through the Panel Presentation™, and take the computer-based Examination for Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) or Accreditation in Public Relations + Military Communication (APR+M). This course is designed to provide a setting that will meet the needs of busy professionals whose schedules don’t permit extensive preparation time.

Apply for the Boot Camp Scholarship

Are you ready to complete the accreditation process and officially earn your APR? PRSA Richmond is proud to offer two scholarships for the upcoming PRSA APR virtual boot camp, set for April 28-30, 2021.

Apply for a scholarship.

The chapter will accept chapter member scholarship applications until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. The scholarship will be paid as a reimbursement – the applicant pays individually and then sends the chapter proof of payment.

The scholarships will cover the $450 boot camp registration fee. Applicants will hear back on the scholarship review process by Friday, March 26, as the registration deadline for the boot camp is March 31. Please note that the cost of the APR examination is $385, which is partially reimbursable by the chapter if candidates pass the test.

Visit the registration site for more details about the boot camp.
