Meet the speaker: a Q&A with May 25 speaker Gloria Rodriguez
Who’s excited for this Wednesday’s PRSA luncheon with Gloria Rodriguez, the founder and CEO of Hispanic public relations and communications firm Comunicad? The programs committee is thrilled to welcome her to Richmond to talk about engaging with multicultural audiences through PR.
We caught up with Gloria for a quick Q&A ahead of her talk.
How has the importance of diversity changed in the communications industry over the past two decades?
Diversity in no longer just about people, but it is about tools, resources, and how we engage, interact and attempt to reach our audience. There’s a lot more to think about and it’s important to know how to do it right.
What brands or companies are getting multicultural communications “right”?
While some brands and companies continue to the evolve, so many others have remained the same unfortunately. Stay tuned for my thoughts on this one.
A fun one: What inspires you?
Creativity that is non-traditional, out-of-the-box.
