IMG_2526What do you enjoy most about being a public relations practitioner?

I love being at the helm of the business and public intersection. Being a voice and ambassador for a brand is very exciting. In this field, I’m constantly energized by new projects and campaigns. Then to top it off with communications in the health care industry, this gives me great satisfaction to know that my work matters.

What three accomplishments, personal and/or professional, you are most proud of?

I’m most proud of my family (husband – 10 years “Whoop! Whoop!” and two boys – ages 8 and 4); I’m also proud of my commitment to learning. I’ve received four non-degree certifications and trainings from Leadership Metro Richmond, University of South Florida, Virginia Commonwealth University and most recently from Johns Hopkins University.

How does PRSA help to support your success?

PRSA is a great way to connect with other professionals and to stay on top of emerging trends. Throughout my career, this organization has been a constant resource as I’ve navigated new agencies, crises, and campaigns.
