Richmond Public Relations Foundation Seeking Diverse Board Applications

The Richmond Public Relations Foundation is seeking new members with an enthusiasm for lifting up the PR profession. Are you interested in giving back to students and supporting communication careers? Please consider submitting an application to become a Foundation board member.

The Foundation is a 501(c) (3) and is the charitable arm of PRSA Richmond. The Foundation was created in 1999 with the purpose of enhancing the public relations profession in Central Virginia.

In addition to offering APR accreditation assistance, the Foundation awards three $1,500 scholarships to rising juniors or seniors at select Virginia colleges and universities who are planning to pursue careers in PR after graduation.

The Foundation meets approximately three times per year – overall, board members typically spend about 15 hours on Foundation duties annually. Board terms are three years in length. Please fill out this form by Oct. 1 if you are interested.

Please reach out to Foundation president Cameron McPherson with any questions at cmcpherson@hodgespart.com.
