PRSA Richmond offers members a variety of professional development and networking opportunities. Some events are open to non-members for a fee.
Lunch Programs
Luncheon programs are held each month, excluding July, August and December. Luncheons feature networking and a dynamic regional or national speaker focusing on communications strategies and trends and the latest innovations in tactical implementations. Luncheons are held at The Westwood Club in Richmond, VA.
Luncheons are included in member dues. Non-members and students may attend the luncheons for a fee. Prior registration is required, as space is limited.
Professional Development Sessions
Additional professional development sessions are held at least twice a year, typically during morning hours to accommodate work schedules. Professional development sessions feature a highly knowledgeable guest speaker or panel discussing a specific tactic or more in-depth topic. Previous topics have included national media panels, social media trends and website usability and best practice.
Networking Events
Several times a year, the chapter hosts casual happy hour networking events at area restaurants and bars.
